Tripe Your Fall Church Event Attendance

Here's a rough outline what I did to skyrocket our attendance:


SOCIAL MEDIA


Create 6 Church Social Post Through Canva.


Schedule Your posts no less than 8 weeks out from the event with a link in the captions pre-register (make sure to collection first name, last name, email). Make sure you stagger your posts and highlight a different aspect of the event.


  1. 6 Weeks Out - Full Scope Event

  2. 5 Weeks Out - Tractor Rides

  3. 4 Weeks Out - Bonfire

  4. 3 Weeks Out - Inflatables

  5. 2 Weeks Out - Traveling Zoo

  6. 1 Day Out - Full Scope Event


VENDORS


Reach Out To the Following Vendors to make it fun:


  1. Two Food Trucks

  2. Three Inflatables (will need separate circuit breaker or generator)

  3. A Local Cosplay (Star Wars Or Something Fun)

  4. BONUS: Traveling Zoo with Farm Animals (ponies, goats, bunnies, etc.)


VOLUNTEERS


Onboard Volunteers As Fast As Possible


  1. Drink Station

  2. Snack Station

  3. Bonfire Station + S'mores

  4. Tractor Ride Station

  5. Face Painting Station

  6. Pumpkin Carving Station + Lay out pumpkins in the field or on a table

  7. Parking

  8. Security

  9. Bathrooms x Indoor Facility

  10. Music Station

  11. Game Station (Aim for 5 yard games)

  12. Greeting Team

  13. Fall Photo Booth


EMAIL SERIES


Create an Email Welcome Series For Those That Pre-register


  1. Set up an auto-confirmation email as soon as they register with a link to add it to their calendar (Android & Apple)

  2. Drop them into a "Church Welcome Series"

    1. 2 Weeks Before Event - Reminder 1

    2. 1 Week Before Event - Reminder 2

    3. Day Before Event - Reminder 3

    4. Day After Event - Survey and and ask for a Review on Your Google Business Profile!!!

    5. 3-18 Days Post Event - Church Welcome Series


FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM ADS


Boost Your Church Social Post


  1. Boost A Social on Facebook and Instagram Post 4-5 weeks out from the event. Budget for $200-$300.

  2. ENSURE You Geo-Target your surrounding Community.

  3. Make Sure They Know It's a Free Event.


I led Church events for many years and clear communication through SOPs, onboarding volunteers, and promoting them through church marketing is critical for success.
